1. Christ is God the Son, equal with the Father and onewith him in essence and nature. But Christ is also man, and as manis subject to the Father. He says (John 14:31): "As the Fatherhath given me commandment, so do I." And we also read (Phil.2:8), that Christ humbled himself in obedience to the Father,"becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of thecross."

2. Christ in his human nature is subject to himself in hisdivine Nature.
